dreamwritersWent to the Boston Book Fest and didn't really enjoy it because I didn't plan well enough and dragging fiance along ended up being a Bad IdeaTM. I need to plan it better next year and go earlier and on my own. Also need to better plan the meetup with the NaNoBoston folks. I also need to save up a little more money.
On the other hand, I did some more bonding with fiance's littlest sister because I got stuck babysitting her for about 10 minutes. Also learned a little more about her big sister too through talking to her. They're both easier to deal with separate than together... Probably because there's less in-fighting and shrieking. They're at that awkward age where one is still an elementary school kid who acts childishly and the other's a teen with an equally appalling but typical teen attitude.
