[Service Day] Reiki Clinic Friday
Mar. 13th, 2020 05:34 pmThis is another weekly recurring post, on Fridays, I offer a distance reiki clinic & share service.
Currently, this is only me offering reiki, but I am PERFECTLY able to support hosting any other reiki-trained folks who want to join in sharing your gifts in the comments.
When this post is opened on each Friday, you have the option of
(a) just asking for a distance reiki healing request which i usually schedule for roughly 8-11PM EST, depending on when i wind down for bed, OR
(b) you can use the sign-in sheet and roleplay as-if you were traveling to this virtual office space and I will basically walk you through what i would do at an in-person clinic/share as time allows [this is the magic of the Internet, Social Media, and Technology! Even a pandemic can't stop us from connecting in some shape!]. (Since this post is going up late [after 10PM] this week, if you wanna do the roleplay version, replies will come in through tomorrow. Next week, I will pretty up this entry with Sims 2 and real-life imagery of what my "virtual reiki space" looks like, but for today, use your imagination.)
If you would like to tip, my tip post is here (LJ).
The clinic space door has a "scent-free zone" sign and opens first into a small waiting area -- there's chairs and floor cushions settled around a table with a lamp with a small range glow [think library table]. A sign on the table reads, "Please make sure your cellphones have sounds off and are on night-mode for screenlighting if that's available on your device". On the table there is a small leaflet describing reiki, a sign in sheet, a sheet of paper with a pain/stress/tension scale in text/numerals and images, labeled 0 = none to 10 = a lot. Also available are gloves, wipes, hand sanitizer, and face masks, if you want or need them.
On one side of the room there is a massage table set up.
In the middle of the room there are 2 armless chairs and several stacked up in the corner.
Along the wall near the chair in the middle of the room and the massage table, there is a table with a covered pitcher of water and paper cups, and some prepackaged snacks for a variety of dietary needs, and a basket of assorted crystal chips/small stones/beads with a sorting tray and a sign that reads "please do not take more than one; use the sorting tray to find the one that calls to you today, this basket's contents are especially useful if you cannot drink a lot of water to detox for personal wellness/medical reasons".
