[Fandom Snowflake Challenge] Day 2 - Fandom Memory

In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom: the first time you got into fandom, the last time a fanwork touched your heart, crazy times with fellow fans (whether on-line or off-line), a lovely comment you’ve received or have left for someone.
My favorite fannish memory from the past year was going to The Orbiting Human Circus Live Show in Boston in June. It was my first time at that particular venue and I spent part of the beginning texting a fellow OHC fan from out of state questioning the "stage and seating setup" (which the intro confirmed was on purpose; I also love how interactive most of the live shows I've been to are).

So, how was seeing OHC live? It sounds like a lively production when I listen to it.

It was entertaining and had a similar layered effect as the podcast. The interactivity was a little less helter-skelter than the Night Vale shows I've been to but still similar.

I enjoyed the fact that the show went into more of Julian the Janitor's back story and that he did call backs to both canon and canon supplemental materials (like the phone call joke contest event). (I really hope they release a recording of the live show at some point this year because I have fic ideas that play off the live show details).
