Last trimester I took a Painting as a Wellness Tool class at the day program I go to.

A lot of my work was either deliberate Night Vale Fanart or Night Vale inspired in retrospect. :) Cellphone snaps of the Night Vale Art are below. The bottom set are poorer quality than the top set. They're still on display at school, so when I bring them home from the gallery later this trimester, I'll probably take a better photo.

Night Vale vs Desert Bluffs
doodles in pencil, crayon and oil pastel

Left side Blue background labeled Night Vale near the bottom in purple block letters. From left to right, top to bottom: a hooded figure, the glow cloud, khoshekh, the night vale eye logo, and a rabbit

Right Side mostly sand-yellow background with some orange labeled with Desert Bluffs in yellow block letters. The focal image is a creepy Smiling Sun with sharp crooked teeth and big orange-red eyes with a StrexPet and the StrexCorp logo underneath.

Night Vale Spiderwolves
crayon + oil pastels
radioactive green background Night Vale Spiderwolves in purple; grey, black, white wolf with spider legs & wolf legs, blue and green eyes

Scrublands Cactus during Evening Sandstorm (formerly titled Abstract Thing 2)
... This was just abstract scribbling, but when I gave it to the instructor to put in the art show, he turned it portrait and told us it looked like a landscape... and I realized later when I went to look it that it looked kind of like what I re-titled it.

Sit With Me/Missing You Collage (top image)
collage (magazine scraps, quote images, clay, pipe cleaners, and oil pastel)

It was mildly inspired by Cecil's whining in Episodes 51-55 and a couple losses in my family over the past year. The quote image in the center above the two kids is "Sitting silently beside a friend who is hurting may be the best gift we can give." The quote surrounded in the blue in the lower right corner says "Missing you comes in waves. Tonight I’m drowning." which is from Hannah Taylor's poetry on Tumblr.
