dreamwritersSo, I'm doing prep work for NaNoWriMo already (by which I mean digging through all the lonely prompts from the Crowdfunding Creative Jams and making copies of the base info for a couple potential crossovers -- definitely Schrodinger's Heroes is getting a crossover, and maybe Heliodrax, but not sure what else yet).
And I copied most of the resources from LJ to the All Year Sprints forums finally (at least the most asked for things).
I'm going to be using the universe I'm tentatively calling IGUSAR (Intergalactic Urban Search and Rescue) and will probably be releasing core-canon as Open Source and crossover fics as freebies.
I kind of envision it as a tv series that genrebends (generally from a science fantasy to science fiction range) and has lots of cast diversity, since I took some of the things tossed around from the development posts that spawnedysabetwordsmith's The Blueshift Troopers and two of ysabetwordsmith's prompts from my Sept 2013 Fishbowl: "A mixed rescue team of humans and aliens trying to clear a collapsed building with a jumble of different search-and-rescue animals." AND "An artificial intelligence secretly adopting abandoned 'virtual pets'."
Generally what genre you are in will depend entirely on which SAR team you're following (one is more scifi/tech-heavy, while the other is more science fantasy).
I am taking requests for (a) anyone who wants to cameo a character or (b) anyone who wants to have me to fusion one of their universes (or some combination of the two).
