This is an advance notice for the #mspcawalk aka The Walk for the Animals 2013 charity promptcall on the theme of companion animals which will start on Friday August 30th and go through Wednesday September 4th. I'll be looking for prompts about companion animals across slice-of-life, fantasy and sci-fi settings. For the purposes of this prompt call "companion animals" encompasses companion animals (aka pets), service, emotional support and/or therapy animals, and animals in the role of sidekick.
Everyone will get a free ficlet (probably between 100-300 words) or a short poem (5-10 lines) based on one of their prompts. Donations to my MSPCA walk page will get you the opportunity to fill a second prompt or increase the word or line count on a prompt of your choice.
One of your prompts may be fanfic, with the caveat that it will likely be posted as your freebie fiction/poem.
My goal for the session is $75 in total donations.
I ask that you hold prompts until the fishbowl open post or send them back-channel if you will be unavailable during the session. If you wish to use an alternate form of donation, you can also contact me back-channel.
Crosstalk between prompters when the fishbowl is open is highly encouraged.
